Elena has a great way of explaining things and she works with each individual's limitations. Where certain moves or postures are too difficult for someone, she will always find alternatives that work.   • I can’t repeat it too many times: when it comes to treating lower back pain consistency is the king!

    Your problem didn’t happen overnight: for years before you ever felt any pain, your body has been shaped and moulded by your postural habits.

    Staying in one position for long periods means that muscles and tissues adapt to that position by “fixing it”, making it fairly permanent. For example, when you spend a lot of time sitting, muscles at the back of your body become long and weak and muscles at the front become short and tight. When you finally stand up, your body still retains that shape, without your realising. This puts increased pressure on your spinal disks. Over time this can lead to disk bulges and even bursts.

    Sounds scary? No need to worry! This can be reversed through consistent behaviour change: i.e. regular movement breaks.

  • The short answer is: forever. But don’t despair! The minimum commitment to the programme is 5 weeks. Why? Based on our work with many, many clients it takes a minimum of 5 weeks to start feeling meaningful difference to your symptoms.

    However, that’s not all! After 5 weeks you start liking it!! Yes, that’s right! Your body starts developing a habit of getting its daily movement snack and it starts craving it. After 5 weeks you can either continue with us for as long as you wish or break away and go on your own.

  • Yes, that’s true, these days we are literally drowning in a sea of freely available information. There is so much of it, that most of us eventually get confused and give up.

    It takes years and years of education and experience to effectively filter that information.

    You can spend months following leads without getting any results or you can trust the experts and get the result you are after with a minimal investment of time.

  • There are plenty of pre-recorded programmes out there. We don’t sell videos. You can get through for free on the internet. Our programmes are taught live.

    This means we keep you accountable for showing up every day. This means there is always back and forth communication between us and other group members. During the programme, you can reach out to us at any time with any concerns or questions (..unless it’s a question of what to do about your ex, in which case you are on your own…).

    Not only it has a completely different energy, but more importantly, it motivates you to show up: day after day.

  • Unlike 1:1 physio appointments, our programmes are group-based. They are designed to be safe and effective for people with most back pain related issues.

    It is important to have an individual diagnosis and treatment plan, however, we know that when it comes to treating back pain, consistency is the king. Without actually doing the exercises daily over a significant of time any positive outcome of treatment is likely to be short-lived.

    Move & Reboot programmes will complement and enhance any routine that you currently follow and prevent your back pain from getting any worse.
